Dangerous Passions by Kate Douglas ***** This is really a 2 for 1 story about Traker and Evan who are still without mates. Evan knows who his mate is, he just needs to figure out how to get her back to the resort or just go get her, he is a little insecure about how she feels about him but she takes the initiative and he won’t let this second chance go to waste. These two have a pretty good rekindling romance and some revelations to deal with. Trak has a bit more going on as alpha whose hiding a few secrets from the pack, his mate comes to him as well but she brings some evil baggage. Author actually does a great job blending their stories around the plot, usually I’m lost trying to keep up with who’s who. Chelo has the potential that’s needed to be mate to the alpha and she deserves a patient, loving mate. Darnell is resourceful too and Evan is just so dedicated to winning her. I would love to vacation here, lol! In Bound to the Wolf***** A.C. Arthur Her comfort….His solace! “As long as you’re mine” Goodness this book is excellent reading material. So well written with a perfect mix of anticipation, excitement and hot mature sex. Marena is like a moth to a flame when Phelan is around and the perfect match for him. Phelan is the type of guy you always want to be on your side when the goings get tough/violent. He thinks he’s scarred for life, he doesn’t do girlfriends or relationships but he is drawn to his mate and the bond is too powerful for even this strong warrior to fight. When he makes a promise….wow!!! Both of these stories are excellent! After I finished Dangerous Passions I felt that the bar was set mighty high for the next story and then wow In Bound to the Wolf held its own and is my favorite of the two.
