Questions that continue to lead to more ambiguity and time running out. I am thoroughly enjoying the WEB OF LIES series by Aleatha Romig. It’s detailed. dark and character depth. SECRETS, the first book draws you immediately. LIES.. continues to captivate you, in this well written and highly recommend story. if you love page-turning drama, intrigue and the exposure of SECRETS, the LIES that unravel - Aleatha delivers this and more. This book picks up immediately where the last book ended, and I would suspect the final book will do the same. That is the thing with a good cliffhanger, you need it to start right back up again! We get more into 'couple-dom' in this book, but it is far from traditional. There is so much going on, sometimes your head feels like it is spinning, but there is some important insight in a couple of spots that bring it all together. No answers mind you, just more questions. The story isn't in the finding the answers, but the path taken to find the questions that need answers!

Wow, I thought for sure this one was going to be a solid 4 stars, but the last few chapters totally bumped it up to 5 stars. Aleatha has done her research on the Chicago profile. Being a native myself (and also recently moved to Colorado), I remember on the news when Alinea's restaurant was mentioned and how long the reservations were lol. We learn about some things that happen in the past and the ending has me thrown in a different direction that I didn't see coming. I can't wait for the finale!
