About this audiobook

“In Britney Spears’s memoir, she’s stronger than ever.” —The New York Times

Over 2 million copies sold of the “moving” (Time), “powerful” (Los Angeles Times), “radiant” (The New York Times), “poignant” (Vogue) #1 New York Times bestseller. The Woman in Me is a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.

In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history.

Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

Frickin mind blowing experience! I felt like I was in a bad dream with her and we both could not get out. Very inspiring of how she escaped from this family cult and the world's brutal altered perceptions of her due to cult control and gas lighting. I learned a great deal of what these high profile I dividuals go through and it makes me give even more respect towards them. Thank you Mrs. Spears for sharing this life story. If you ever have it in you again after healing, I would love to hear how you was one of the hardest working women in show business, as I have heard. I believe this would be inspiring to a hell of a lot of people trying to reach our goals. Again, thank you soooo much, Mrs. Spears.🙏🙏

Went in expecting very little as many celebrity memoirs hardly scratch the surface of their real life. This is NOT that. A brutally honest look behind closed doors throughout every part of her journey. Michelle Williams did a great job reading. There were moments half way through the audiobook where I could've sworn it was Britney talking. 5/5 would recommend to anyone who has ever been interested in Britney or anyone who enjoys memoirs.

wow! Michelle Williams did a phenomenal job at reading this! she sounds so much like Britney, that I would forget that it wasn't Britney herself talking. I was a little skeptical at first. I'm so glad that Britney was able to share her story. the things that she revealed in this book, often times left me speechless, hurt for her, shocked. it broke my heart to hear what all she had to endure & overcome. she has always been an inspiration to me. from the moment I heard "baby" in 1998, I've been drawn to her, and connected! I will never lose my love for Britney! #britneystanforlife I love you Britney ❤️
