Freshly married, Anne and Gilbert move to Four Winds Point, where Gilbert takes over his uncle’s medical practice. In 1908, her debut novel, Anne of Green Gables, was published, marking the first installment in what would become one of the most beloved children’s and young adult book series ever. The book has been translated into around 36 languages and sold over 50 million copies.
