BAD INTENTIONS is the fourth instalment in Tara Wyatt’s contemporary, adult THE PRESCOTTS erotic, Mafia, crime-world series focusing on the Prescott family. Over the next five years, Julian and Olivia would randomly meet at parties and get togethers but it is not until her father asks a favor does Julian know Olivia is now his for the claiming. But…when Olivia’s ex-boyfriend begins to demand everything and more, Julian becomes guardian and protector of the woman that calls to his heart. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Julian and Olivia, and the potential fall-out when an assassin sets his sights on our story line heroine. Julian Prescott is the head of a group known as the Kings of Hell’s Kitchen, a well connected group of former members of organized crime who act as go-betweens when the criminal underworld take aim at one another but Julian will quickly discover Olivia’s ex is as dangerous as they come, and Julian is no longer satisfied to sit back and wait for someone else to take control. Olivia Walsh has known since the first time she laid eyes on Julian Prescott, that he would one day be her man but Olivia’s business is about to take off, and if not for her ex on the constant prowl, everything about her life would be perfect. When the threats against Olivia become more dangerous and dark, Julian calls in help from the Kings of Hell’s Kitchen but even they are not infallible when someone else is determined to take back what doesn’t belong The relationship between Julian and Olivia is older man/younger woman (May-December romance) wherein five years of lusting after one another finally comes to fruition. Olivia’s father is not impressed with Olivia’s choice in men but Julian is the perfect foil for the man that is targeting our story line heroine. Julian has always believed he would never settle down but when threats against Olivia bring Julian front and center, Julian knows that it is only a matter of time before he claims Olivia as his own. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including all of the previous story lines couples, as well as the Kings of Hell’s Kitchen:Luca Romano, Ryu Shiroda, Killian Byrne and Sasha Petrov. We are introduced to Olivia’s father Gavin Walsh, several of our heroine’s BFFs, Olivia’s ex Massimo Greco, and Julian’s cousins Noah, Hudson and Levi. BAD INTENTIONS is a story of family, friendships, relationships and love; a story of betrayal and vengeance, obsession and retribution, power and control. The fast paced premise is gritty and captivating; the romance is spicy and provocative; the characters are energetic, powerful and determined. BAD INTENTIONS is my first story by Tara Wyatt, but it definitely won’t be my last- I am going to have to go back to the beginning, where it all began.

This was a new series for me - the first that I have read in the Prescotts series, and it did not disappoint. In fact on finishing I had to immediately buy the first three books! (Luckily "Stupid Love", the first book in the series is currently free!) That must give you a clue as to how good I thought it was! Loved reading Lucian and Olivia's story. Lucian's a bad boy you well really love! Happy reading!

Lucian, the eldest Prescott, lives in the shadows, between being not-quite mafia and the CEO of Prescott Hospitality Group. He derives happiness from watching his siblings lives fall into line, but does not find himself worthy of love. Five years ago, he met Olivia, and he has been torn between her being off-limits and being the most intriguing woman he has ever met. She is determined to have him, and when, in a moment of weakness, he relents, they are fire. It will take everything he has to keep her by his side. This book is the ultimate slow burn. Five years! It was worth the wait. Lucian's story does him justice. He is so dark and broody, and so deserving of his own love. This book is worthy of the one-click. While part of The Prescotts Series, it can be read as a stand-alone, but is even more enjoyable read in order. I received a free copy of this book and am leaving an honest review.
