About this eBook

Thanks to my dad marrying Satan's ex- wife, my life goes from pretty cushy to hell on earth. I lose my bedroom to one of her spoiled, trollish sons, and am banished to the attic where it's bake- your-brains hot in summer and freeze- your-nads cold in winter. Every day of my life is filled with chores now. I can barely fit in homework and sleep and I'm probably going to flunk out of college. Meanwhile, my henpecked father merely turns his eyes the other way.

The New Orleans annual New Year's Eve Ball is coming up and I was so psyched over it because I'm finally old enough to go, except SHE says I'll have to stay home. So much for my dream of catching the prince's eye from across a crowded room... or is it?

Warning: does contain a foot fetish scene

I loved Cinder Fella by Avery Adams. I loved Kash and Elliot's story. Unlike the traditional Cinderella fairy tales, we get to see what happens after the prince finds Cinderella again after the ball. I loved that Kash and Elliot were fated mates, had mate mark tattoos, and twin boys via a surrogate. It had everything I would want in a MM retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale. Since his father remarried, Kash's life has been unbearable. his step mother treats him like a servant. She's a terrible person. Elliot is a prince and now is the time for him to meet his mate. There's a ball and Elliot and Kash meet and Elliot knows that Kash is his mate. I really enjoyed this book

This is a more contemporary retelling of 'Cinderella', to name a few; the cruel stepmom is still in place, stepsisters have become brothers and the fairy godnother is fairy godbutler. The little more modern touches are fun and draws the story to this era.. However the prince being gay was placed earlier on that it might be a problem, however that was never adressed again. So why bring it up? The footfettish was a fun reference to the glass slipper of the original story, but personally I could have gone without that 😉 All and all a slightly rushed short retelling with ofcourse a hea. 4-.
