Book Bruin Kim
Lots of action and excitement in the newest addition to the Jameson Force Security series. Previous characters from the first book appear, but Code Name: Sentinel can definitely be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed this protector/forced proximity romance featuring Cruce and Barrett. They had wonderful chemistry and I loved the build up and tension between them. When things finally boil over with them, it was H-O-T!! I could see many of the scenes playing out in my mind like a movie. Parts of the book were a little predictable and others resolved a little too easily, but it didn't diminish my enjoyment. The epilogue left me with a smile on my face and I'm excited to see that Saint's story is next! *I voluntarily read an advance review copy of this book*

This is book #2, in the Jameson Force Security series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. To avoid spoilers, and to better understand the series, I recommend reading it in the order intended. Cruce is proud to be a part of a new group. While different, yet still the same intention, he works well with his team and glad to do it. Then he meets his new assignment. She is sure to be a challenge, but he vows to keep her safe. Barrett is having a hard time believing anyone would need to harm her. She barely lives - so what is to come to her to accomplish? Her ideas can be great, but until she puts them into action it still seems awfully premature. Then the unspeakable happens...... This couple was just a spark, dare I say a kiss, away from igniting. They are both professionals who take their jobs seriously. Like all of this author's books - it is fast paced while at the same time sexy as hell. Only this one was more subtle than most. I found the story extremely interesting. While the leads playing off one another sealed the deal for me. This was a great addition to the series. ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

This series about the Jameson Force Group is turning into a fast favorite. Each member has special qualities they bring to the table to assist on missions. Every new edition, I seem to love them even more. Cruce Britton had a successful career with the Secret Service and has now joined Kynan and his team in Pittsburgh. He knows people in high places, so when the President asks for a meeting, he and Kynan make their way to DC and see what their services are needed for. President Alexander’s niece is in danger and he wants the best man to protect her. Cruce has formed a trusting relationship with him, and there is no better man to handle this delicate situation. What starts out as a small threat, escalates quickly with no other option but to go off the grid. Barrett Alexander is a genius. She has multiple degrees including two PhDs, so to say she’s smart is an understatement and she is now working on a top secret project for the government. She is one of those characters that is oblivious to what’s happening around her and concentrates on her job solely. She needs Cruce to protect her but she also learns he can teach her a thing or two in relaxing! Among other activities to fill in the time they spend together. This story begins with some anxious tension, leads into sexual tension and then flips into a fast paced mission. Cruce is definitely one to have on your team. He is very dependable and capable of getting a job done right the first time. His devotion for Barrett was adorable. She was super sweet too. I loved her smarts and her tremendous strength in hanging in there. She just needs to believe in miracles and other’s abilities. This book is an excellent addition to the collection and I’m happy to know there are two more books to come.
