Simone has you twisting and turning from the suspense! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one! You knew it was going to be a nail biter, but nothing prepares you for the mayhem that ensues. It’s like Murphy’s Law won’t be pushed aside with the men elsewhere and the woman the target of a cruel man who only wants to get to Hickman. This is classic Simone with the unexpected strength that prevails when the going gets tough! The foreshadowing hits you in the gut at the end!

This story was so exciting! It was full of steam, action, and of course twists and turns. I loved how the women took it upon themselves to protect their families and the ones they loved. The book does end in a cliffhanger so I'll be eagerly anticipating the release of the next book. Love this author. With the history that Waterman and Hickman have it is no wonder that de Paolo faction has escalated their search. So much action and suspense tied up with such a large extended family! While satisfying to see the plot unfold, the threat still persists. I am looking forward to the next segment in the story!.
