So repetitive it was enought to want to make you puke even down to the swearing. A really weak story line - a child could have written better. Very dissappointed in an author whom I had always rated highly. Will not be picking up one of her books in a hurry again, thats for sure.

Typical Martina Cole novel. What with the word 'skullduggery' and phrases like 'swallowing your own knob' you know that you are reading one of her novels. Its a shame, because the foundations of her stories are good but the repetitiveness of said words and phrases in EVERY one of her books has become really tedious. Along with lead characters that are literally carbon copies of lead characters from the book before, they have become disappointingly boring. I guessed who the 'serial killer' was after about 50 pages, it was glaringly obvious. If the familiarity of her books is why you like to read them, then this book will be as good as the last, but for me personally, the 'skullduggery' of her writing has in itself become too much for me to swallow, let alone anything else!!
