Loved reading the exciting and enthralling second book in the series. Langston allows Liesel to be taken off the island by his friend, Siren. Langston wants revenge on Liesel for something she did in his past, but Liesel has no idea what she did. After Langston steals all of Liesel's money from her bank account, Liesel has to attend a strange party on a yacht. When Langston finds out about it, he and his friends tag along and find out how bizarre and sadistic the party becomes. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, full of twists and turns, riveting story engaging the reader from the beginning of the story until the cliffhanger, and leaving the reader full of anticipation for the next story in the series!

After escaping Langston’s private island, with the help of Siren and Zeke, Liesel Dunn returns to her New York high rise, desperately needing time to process whatLangston revealed. After telling Langston that she is married to a Waylon, he reveals that he is married to Phoenix Dunn, Liesel’s cousin, and has children with him. The person to claim the treasure has to be married to a Dunn. Someone is lying! Langston has followed Liesel back to New York, where she discovers that he has hacked into her bank account and cleaned out all of her money. Now she has to find a way to replenish her funds. She lets Waylon know that she will be away for the weekend. He understands it to mean she will be with another man. They have an open relationship. Langston knows she is up to something, so he enlists all his friends to join him on a yacht, where Liesel has arranged to spend the weekend, and they will be playing games that can destroy them. Soon, Langston realizes that he has been played, but also betrayed by someone he least expects. The games may be over, but Langston still has to fight for his life! This is book two in The Lies Series and it continues the story of Liesal and Langston and omg I am so hooked on this series. Langston continues to ask Liesal for the truth but will she give him what he wants even though her life is on a countdown. The twists and turns keep coming but where will it all end. This series is just getting better and better with each book and the cliff hanger really does.keep you hanging while you wait to read the next book to see what will happen next. Ella Miles is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will not be disappointed. Just remember that you need to read the previous books to get the background history as these books are not a standalone.
