This is the 3rd book in the Lies series for me this was by far the best. The rawness in the characters and their feelings throughout this book grips you and take your heart with them. From the cliff hanger, desperate lies left on this book picked right back up and had you second-guessing your own thoughts on what is going to happen at every single point right up until the final words. Langston and Liesels love-hate relationship seriously turn a corner in this book and some of the truths finally get revealed (I repeat some) don't even try to figure these two and their relationship and what went wrong with them because their lives and the pain they have lived through are like puzzles that fit together but they just can't figure out where. Liesel is still the strong, hard fiesty women she was throughout the first two books but this time we get to see the more vulnerable side to her, the side that she hides away even from Langston but as the story unfolds she can't hold back any longer and by the end of this book I no longer disliked her now I loved her. Langston is well Langston the big scary bad boy who keeps every feeling and emotion locked behind the bad boy persona he likes to show everyone only this time we see the softer more caring, loving and the wonderful father he has become. deep down we could always see this side but in this book, it really shines through and Langston and Liesels love for each other truly grows into something of beauty. BUT That ending again Miss Ella Miles what are you doing to me... I need more and can not wait for cruel lies to be released because so far this story is magnificent and anyone that gets the chance should read this book and the rest of the series. You will be thanking me later!!! Thank you again, Ella Miles, for allowing me to read this ARC I LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!! Oh my, just as you get over one “occurrence “ the plot tilts another way. Langston and Liesel were best friends as children, but when he didn’t save her from events beyond her control, a hate/love, truth/lie relationship developed. However, this book shows more honesty between them than ever before. The revelation at the end of the book is draw dropping. The characters are impeccable with an ever changing storyline. Absolutely great read! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
