Tightening the noose on all the characters Kay, a newer lawyer, seems to working both for and against her client while Reese, a detective turned crime scene investigator, has cut things close one too many times after the events in Brutal. As the story progresses a gruesome discovery is made, a brutal truth is uncovered, and putting aside his pride could be the only way back from the hole he has dug himself. W.L. Knightly is tightening the noose on all the characters as things unfold further in Fraud. There are still a few puzzle pieces missing, but the picture is definitely starting to become clearer. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

The tension mounts. Edge of your seat drama as more discoveries are made, more secrets unveiled and more questions arise. WL Knightly has done it again. The tension mounts as Kay gets in deeper and Reece finds himself out in the cold. There is dark and there is dangerous and being around Kay is both. Reece is sure there is still more buried even as he discovers more. This series is increasingly taut and thrilling. You must read the books in order but plan to put time aside. There is no break from the tension so you will have to read in one pass. Loving the series.

Reese is back on the force and trying to get more information into Heather Crawfords murder. He is also find more information about Kay and Sallie protecting her. The cliffhanger will shock you and leave you gasping for air. Things come to light that you won't expect. Kay is definitely showing you how manipulative she can be and some of her thought process.
