I enjoyed reading this book. Amilee and Rian were betrothed when she was 12 and he was 20. Initially, for me, his attraction to what is essentially a child had a bit of an “ick factor”, but I soon realised that he wasn’t sexually attracted to the child, he was intrigued by her thoughts, feelings and what/who she would become. Amilee too was intrigued by this man, even at such a young age. Fast forward many years and we find the attraction is still there but misunderstandings have put blocks in the way of their HEA. I enjoyed this final instalment of the book club series. I received this book from the Author. I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

20-year-old Crown Prince Rian al Sayed of Abidnae is in a ceremony to confirm acceptance of his betrothed, 12-year-old Amilee Lahgami. To him, it’s just a ceremony like all the other ceremonies. To Amilee, it’s confusing and embarrassing. At Amilee’s 20 birthday celebration it becomes more. Amilee has not only matured, she’s beautiful and so smart. Rian realizes she is pretty darn perfect for him but she wants to continue her education before marrying. This same joyous night Rian gives Amilee her first kiss then he leaves…. and shortly after she sees Rian kissing a sexy “friend” who obviously wants more from Rian. Amilee watched and her heartbreaks. That scene plays in her head for years as she comes up with excuses for them to put off the marriage. BUT eventually, love wins out. WONDERFUL characters! I loved Rian, Amilee, and Rian’s Grandma. I received an advanced copy for free and I am leaving a voluntary review. Linda

Mine was walking out of movie to find that my breast milk had leaked down thr front of lovely pink dress. I enjoyed this story just took me sometime to finish and I have no idea why.
