About this ebook

What more could Robert be hiding? Lara intends to find out.

With the start of a new semester, Lara is thrust right back into Godslayer Academy. This time, she's alone.

She still doesn't know if Riella's presence at Robert's home -- and the gossip surrounding the couple -- is true.

She doesn't care.

What hurts is that Robert kept something from her again, and this time, Lara doesn't think they can come back from this. It doesn't help that Robert reassigns Lara to a different class and refuses to have her as his lab assistant.

Is this part of his elaborate scheme to keep her away from danger? Or is there something more nefarious.

Lara isn't sure, but if she intends to find out, she must choose to trust Robert all while digging deeper into his past with Riella if she's going to figure out just who's responsible for pulling the strings.

And the story continues, there's so much I still don't understand about the gods in this. We learn little bit at a time, I can't seem to get enough of this series though. Honestly the characters are so much fun, and whilst my favourite is actually not the main two characters. He's still such an interesting guy, and his unique nickname is just hilarious. I really hope he shows up more, this book mostly focuses on Kara, Robert, Dalton Riella and Charley. The intense setting as things start to become more heated, in more ways than one..... You could say. Riella is a character you'll love to hate, I'm not entirely sure what she's up to but it's not good that's for sure. I'm trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible, but my head is reeling trying to figure out who the traitor is. I have my suspicions who it might be, and I hope I'm wrong. This will drive me crackers until I know who it is, sadly this book doesn't reveal it. Oh well 1 more reason to read the next book.

MOST INTENSE YA FICTION I'VE EVER READ! This book will have you biting your nails and begging for more! I absolutely love all of Isadora Brown's writing anyways, but this series is so much better than anything else she's written. There's always some kind of drama going on, and there's even quite a bit of romance and a whole lot of intrigue. I can't wait to see what happens with the rest of this series... As usual, it isn't well edited, but it definitely could've been worse. I was a little annoyed at the length of this book. It just seems to me that the books were a little overpriced with how short they are, but the truth is that they're really entertaining and anyone that is a fan of YA fiction should totally make the investment because it is worth both the time and the money and you won't regret it!
