About this ebook

A wounded warrior

After the catastrophic loss of his best friend in battle, Army Ranger Tyson Brooks trades in his fatigues for a badge, moving to Eden’s Ridge, Tennessee to rebuild his life and find a way to live in a world without Garrett. But no amount of protecting and serving the citizens of Stone County is enough to override the guilt that he simply didn’t do enough.

An incurable romantic

Romance author Paisley Parish has spent her whole career chasing the perfect hero and finding all the real life options lacking. Until she runs into her high school sweetheart—the one who left her for the Army. The old spark is definitely still alive, but the man carries far more scars than the boy.

A second chance to save each other

When Paisley becomes the target of malicious harassment, the police have no suspects, no leads, no way to make her feel safe. As her stalker escalates, she turns to the one guy she knows can protect her. Ty’s determined to put a stop to the harassment, even if it means moving in with the woman who’s so much more than the girl he used to love. He just has to remember to guard his own heart in the process.

Note: Includes the prequel novelette Bad Case of Loving You.

She loves weddings

As a romance author, Paisley Parish is a hopeless romantic. Seeing her friends exchange promises of forever does her heart good--even if the whole thing does highlight her own regrettably single status. But that's what cake and champagne are for. She just has to escape the douchecanoe who won't take no for an answer.

He hates weddings

Former Army Ranger Ty Brooks is happy to see his brother-in-arms starting his new life. He just wishes he was out of this monkey suit and miles away from the seemingly endless parade of guests. All this happily ever after isn't for him, but he's determined nothing's going to ruin Harrison and Ivy's special night. Especially the asshat who's cornered one of the female guests.

A blast from the past

The knight in a tux who shows up with a glass of champagne pretending to be Paisley's date is none other than the first love who broke her heart. Ty's older, hotter, and shocked to see her. It's clear the old chemistry is alive and kicking, and as they take a walk down memory lane, so are the feelings they both thought long dead and buried. Will the night be the closure they never got...or the start of a second chance?

I wanted Paisley Parish for my BFF when I met her in Let It Be Me - she was crazy fun, creative and fiercely loyal - but that girl sure couldn’t find her match! And since she’s a romance writer, she has a pretty good idea of what true love means for her. Made For Loving You tells us why she couldn’t find a happy ending with anyone for so long, though not through lack of trying! Her first love, Ty Brooks, still owned most of her heart. The free prequel short story, Bad Case Of Loving You, is a must-read and works well as a prologue for this book, introducing the reader to their amazing chemistry. This is a moving, passionate story of two people that were truly meant to be together. And the journey they take together in this book is so adventurous and captivating that I couldn’t put it down before the last page. And with an epilogue, the ending was well worth staying up for! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Whenever I pick up a book by this talented author, I know that it will be another wonderful story. This one proved my point. Former Army Ranger Ty Brooks and romance author Paisley Parish were sweethearts in HS. From the moment he rescued her from a “handsy” boy at the prom they were inseparable. They thought they would be together forever, but the day Paisley thought he would propose, he broke up with her and left her so he could join the Army with his best friend. Even his reasons were real to him, Ty ended up breaking Paisley’s heart. Almost 20 years later they find themselves in a similar scenario at a wedding when he rescues her again. As we learn about their lives during all that time, and the stalker that seems to follow Paisley, we come to fall in love with Ty and all the struggles he’s endured. Your heart will also break for Ty and the guilt he’s endured most of this time. This is a story about losses, forgiving oneself, opening one’s heart to love, new beginnings, not giving up on love and finding “home”. As the author so beautifully describes it, “ Home is a feeling”. Here is to finding “home” with the one you love. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Booksprout. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

This book was a whirlwind of a roller-coaster ride. Laughter, tears, suspense, and steam. It truly did have a little bit of everything. I had already started to fall in love with Paisley and Ty in their prequel story “Bad Case of Loving You” in the Love Is In the Air anthology, so I was pretty excited to find out everything that happened after that. I’m a sucker for a second chance, so I immediately connected with that facet of the book. I hated to watch these two trip over all the old baggage that was still standing between them, but I loved it when they were able to clear it away. Their connection has withstood the test of time, and it was awe-inspiring to see in action. I think I spy the groundwork for some future book heroes and heroines in the making. I can’t wait to see where the author takes us next. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
