From USA Today bestselling author L A Cotton comes an opposites-attract sports romance. Angst... drama... friendship... and football. Will you survive senior year?

Lily Ford has always been a wallflower.

But it's senior year, and she wants nothing more than to try and push her boundaries and embrace the last year of high school.

Kaiden Thatcher has always been the star on the football field.

But now he finds himself in enemy territory forced to prove himself to his new coach and teammates.

It starts with a dare. Seven minutes of heaven in a boat shed. But it quickly turns into something neither of them saw coming.

He's everything she should resist.

She's everything he shouldn't want.

But neither of them are willing to walk away because together, their demons seem that little bit easier to silence.

There's just one problem ... Lily is the coach's daughter.

And one hundred percent off-limits.

* Off-Limits is a 100,000-word standalone romance in the Rixon High series. It deals with some sensitive issues that some readers may find distressing, This book is recommended for readers 17+

not a bad read. I think it is good we're seeing more mental health issues in teen books and the subtle message of you're not alone, let your friends help, nearly everyone has or has had issues similar if not exactly the same. The only thing I found needing more attention is the language didn't sound like most teens and the thought processes were too mature .

Rating: 4.5 Stars Lily helps the reader get ready to go back to high school. Were you shy back then? Then you might identify with her. Another possible memory involve parents – her scene will give you a good chuckle. Kaiden’s year isn’t starting off as he thought it would. This may seem more about Lily but make no mistake, Kaiden’s part of the story was a great match. What makes Lily more real is the disorder she has to live with. I got curious and found that it’s a thing but it had me questioning how the author went about choosing that particular one to add into her story. Then there’s Kaiden. Our author created a situation that left me feeling so sorry for him. Again, it’s something real that I’m sure happens to a few people of that age – sad to say. Ms. Cotton always does a great job at creating adults that are something of a disappointment. This time she’s gone a step further and added in some adults that are actually there to support the young adults. It was refreshing and just added to the realism of this first book of a new series. If you’ve read the Rixon Raiders series, I think you’ll find that this will quickly become an addiction. This story gets the reader more involved with the group that surrounds the main characters. It will be interesting to see how this series is going to evolve. The author’s epilogue gave me just enough that I want the next book now – don't want to wait. I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Kaiden has come to a new school where he has to prove that he deserves a fair shot. Lily is the quiet, sweet girl who is dealing with a lot on the inside. Kaiden and Lily see each other and the connection between them is undeniable. When Kaiden finds out that she is the coach's daughter he knows that he should stay away but she is just too hard to resist. ⁣ This is my first L.A. Cotton book and I will be reading more of her books in the future. I am looking forward to going back and read the Rixon Raiders series and get caught up on the older generation. Lily is a strong woman and Kaiden is not your typical jock which made them the perfect couple. The connection between them sizzled off the pages. A great start to the beginning of the series and it will be interesting to see where it goes.

About the author

Author of over thirty mature young adult and new adult novels, LA COTTON is happiest writing the kind of books she loves to read: addictive stories full of teenage angst, tension, twists and turns.

Home is a small town in the middle of England where she currently juggles being a full-time writer with being a mother/referee to two little people. In her spare time (and when she’s not camped out in front of the laptop) you’ll most likely find LA immersed in a book, escaping the chaos that is life.
