Into the Mists is the second book in the Seven Wardens Series. It's a supernatural reverse harem story. You must read these books in order. If you haven't read book one, I highly suggest you go read it before starting this one. This review will assume you've read the first book so if you haven't, back away from this review since it'll mostly likely have some book one spoilers. This book picks up where book one left off. Macey and her three mates (Cam, Flint and Jared) have teamed up with Izban to find Amber who is being held captive by Mahoun the evil that Macey's been calling the Voice. Unfortunately, at the end of book one the Voice captures Macey. The journey continues as they all try to make sense of what is happening and what role the Wardens play in ending things and stopping evil from destroying everyone. This book ends without a big cliffhanger but the story not completed. I'd say happy for now with more of the story still to be told. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

“A kelpie, an incubus and two wraiths walk into a bar... Things were going so well until Macey got kidnapped. Again.” Into the Mists picks up where From the Deeps left off with Macey awakening in a cell after being kidnapped (AGAIN!) by Malan (AKA The Voice). This was narrated by Angus Yellowlees and between his ability to differentiate between voices and species of characters … there is no one I would rather hear tell this story. This is an action packed plot with intriguing characters you want to follow through their journeys and a world that is vividly built!

'Into the Mists' is the second book in the "Seven Wardens" series and picks up where "From the Deeps" left off. Macey is kidnapped (again) and locked in the same prison as Amber, the Lightning Warden, by the evil Voice. Poor Amber is being tortured with mind games being played over and over until Luch, a talking mouse becomes quite helpful in their escape. Amber is reunited with Jared, Cam, and Flint, her Wardens, and Amber is back with Izban so they can once again focus on their mission. The adventure isn't finished yet as Selkies are pulled into this. Each of these characters has such vivid personalities and our authors have described their interactions fabulously. What imagination! I can't wait to see what happens next.
