This is a short story about Bex and Curtis. How the met and where Curtis was for eight years. They are both assigned the same assignment and meet up again. Both must find the witch hunters and stop them. Very fast paced and it kept you reading to the end. I would recommend this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Bex and Curtis had one night together and they had been trying to find each other. She wanted him to know that she was pregnant. Witch hunters were coming after the witches the council sent Cutis what was happening, so her first job on the witches council to help him with the hunters. As working together they realized they were mates and her little girl was his. They got the hunters and everything else fell in place! Great book!

I loved this story with sort of a second chance at love gist, although, not quite. Bex and Curtis have a steamy one night stand that leaves Bex pregnant. It's then she realizes that Curtis is her fated mate. Curtis, however, was in the military and was on leave when he met Bex, but after had to return. They meet again in the future, both learning more about their world and fated mates. They get put together to catch witch hunters and Bex's daughter gets taken by them in the process. When they find her she has turned into a Lion cub and Curtis is extremely surprised because he is a Lion shifter also. This story was exciting and a easy and entertaining read. Definitely recommend this read! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
