About this ebook

A stoat shifter heiress is sent to London in the hopes of catching a suitor.

Miss Harriet Ermington knows that as an untitled heiress, being presented to the Shifter Queen is an opportunity she can't let pass, even if it means living under the control of her aunt.

With his family almost in financial ruin, Mr Frederick Stoaly knows he is expected to find a wealthy wife, even if his heart would rather find a lady whose company he enjoys.

The two of them find themselves drawn to one another despite believing there can be nothing more between them, but what happens when they discover how wrong they are?

Oh, the irony! Frederick and Harriet met in a manner that was relatively normal for that time. Beyond that, nothing else about their time together could truly be described as "normal". Frederick was a kind, caring, gentle, attractive and intelligent man. He was also heir to the Viscount (due to his elder brother's passing). As such, there were cirertain requirements his parents had for any potential bride. Harriet was such a sweet, innocent young woman. Though innocent, she was highly intelligent, beautiful, caring, gentle, and did her best to follow the tons rules (even when they made no sense to her). She was the only child and thus heir to her parents vast fortune. She stayed with an aunt while attending the Season. Though she was unsure what SHE wanted from a marriage, she was determined to meet her parents expectations (and apparently that meant securing a betrothal that included a title). There are so many expectations placed upon these two. Will they make their way to a HEA?

Harriet is in London for the Season to find a husband, one that her aunt deems must be titled. Fredrick has promised his father that he would find a wife with a substantial dowry before the end of the season. When Harriet and Frederick are introduced by a mutual friend, the attraction grows naturally, as neither knows that the other fits the enforced requirements. I enjoyed reading their story, since they seemed like such genuine characters in the midst of others meddling. A sweet read.

Miss Harriet Ermington is in London to find a husband; sponsored for the Season by her aunt. Hopefully, Harriet will find another shifter who will mean more to her than just a title. Frederick Stoaly is heir to a viscounty that has been reduced to poverty and must marry an heiress with a substantial dowry. He would rather marry a woman he can come to love. Frederick and Harriet make a sweet couple in this delightful shifter romance. The minor conspiracy made the story even more interesting.
