About this ebook

When there’s nothing left to lose, what’s left to fight for?

Rose’s whole life has been spent in the shadows, meaning she’s no stranger to danger, fear, or pain. When her family’s crimes come to light, and a man she cares for is murdered, Rose has no problem becoming the villain they all assume her to be. Rose is ready to shed the blood of her enemies, of everyone who’s ever hurt her.

But before she can take her revenge, she’s kidnapped and wakes up to find herself in England. Her kidnapper? A boy who died years ago, whose death destroyed her heart. But he’s no longer a boy. He’s a man with scars and secrets.

The past and present collide, old sins coming to light, and Rose will have to decide if she’s ready to stand and fight for the people she loves and a future she never dared hope for.

Beloved Sacrifice is a threesome romantic suspense. It can be read as a standalone or enjoyed as part of the ongoing Trinity Masters series.

**Received ARC for a fair and honest review** Beloved Sacrifice is the 9th book in the Trinity Masters series. Though I think this is supposed to be a standalone, I've read most of the series and am behind two books and was lost in this book. Rose is a Trinity Legacy, her mother died when she was a child, the other two parents in their trinity wanted nothing to do with her, and she ended up living with the Anderson's who continuously abused her starting at age 16. Wes was her childhood crush/love, even though he was 4 years older then her. When he died at 17 she was devastated and never really got over him. Marek is sent to go retrieve Rose from the kidnappers and ends up involved with Rose and Wes. So this book is definitely not for sensitive readers. I've read a lot of dark romance, and this book bothered me. The first 35% of the book is Rose being kidnapped and abused and they go into details multiple times with her story. Very disturbing. After the first part the story, it started picking up and started getting better, then the book just ends. There is an epilogue that has mostly nothing to do with the trinity, and I finished feeling like what the heck. There is a minimal amount of closure with one part of the story, being vague to avoid spoilers here, but with the trinity itself and other aspects that are brought up there is a lot left open. There characters themselves at first were a struggle, but after about 35-40% of the way through the book started growing on me, and at the end I did like them, but it took a long while to really get into the characters. This is the first book in the series that I read that I just really didn't really care for. It saddens me to write this review, because I've loved the books in the series that I've read so far, and this one just let me down. Hope this helps. Happy Reading!!!

I was a little worried about reading book 9 in a series that I haven't read at all but, while I think I would have understood what was going on faster if I had at least read books 6-8, I didn't really feel lost. That being said, I wouldn't read this as a standalone if I had a do-over. Rose has been through a tremendous amount of bad things in her life. Every new thing that she revealed made my heart break for her just a little bit more. Both times Rose was "kidnapped" in this book and her dry humor about it made me laugh out loud. The men in this story are strong protectors, each in their own way, and the trio complement each other so perfectly. There is a ton of suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, not putting the book down until I knew what was going to happen. I'm definitely adding this series to my TBR. *This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

A bit detective story, a bit of a mystery, a little bit of history and a lot of romance: this book is a wonderfully heartwarming addition to the Trinity Masters series!
