Fight For Me: A Ransom Family Novel

Fight for Me was a fantastic journey. From the beginning, I cried real tears (I don't get emotional) & laughed out loud during the humorous moments. Wyatt joined the Ransom family as a young child; therefore, he is quite a bit older than the other Ransom children. Wyatt's early upbringing held a different start in life than the other kids. His family looked different than most kids his age. I started this book with a glimmer of excitement. I love all of the Ransome series & had looked forward to learning about what Rachel had in mind for Wyatt. I stayed up extra late the night that Fight for Me was released. Wyatt's journey did not disappoint. I read the entire book in just a few hours as I could not put it down. I went through tissue after tissue. I felt like I was in the story watching Wyatt feel all of the sadness that he went through. Rachel writes her books in such a way that you feel you are checking in on & learning about a friend. You want them to be happy. You want them to succeed. You want them to get the girl. Wyatt's journey was no different. Wyatt stayed away from his family & friends because he loved a girl he didn't believe he should love. He cared so much for her that he would rather stay away from all that he loved than give in to feelings he didn't believe he was worthy to have. Little did he know that she felt the exact same way. Wyatt's heart is pure & strong for those he loves. Definitely read Fight for Me. Read them all!!!! You won't be disappointed. You'll want to read them all again & again.

Every time I read one of Rachel Schurig's books I say it's my favourite, then she brings out a new one and I fall hopelessly in love again. Wyatt and Alex's story is a timeless classic of forbidden love mixed with the feeling of being the black sheep of a big family and how worthy one feels of love It is a beautifully written book that allows you to lose yourself in another's life. The characters are so relatable and its easy to forget that these are children of famous rock icons and that they're also characters in a book. I need a story for every member of the family please!

This had a little of everything, humor and heart. I loved the family dynamics and how this played to be both a blessing and curse for the central characters. The premise was realistic and the conflic and eventually the resolution felt genuine. This was my favourite in the series so far- of the next-gen Ransome family.
