Good For Me: A Ransom Family Novel

You will not be disappointed with Good for Me. Like all of Rachel Schurig's novels, this one tells the story with all of the parts of life within it. I have waited for this book! I definitely was not disappointed. River's story was invigorating and showed some real experiences that we have all been through at one point in our lives. I wasn't prepared for some of the things that happened until I read them; however, I was happy to see that the entire Ransome family did not disappoint when the times got difficult. River is a well-developed character that has so much of his parents in his personality. He is searching for his calling and his aha moment like many of us. River doesn't expect Jas to change his perspective like she does, nor her him. Jasmine is a breath of fresh air into River's lungs. She is the epitome of perfection. Their journey is one that kept me reading from start to finish! I couldn't put it down. I had to know everything. River and Jasmine's journey makes you want to start all over again with the one that you love. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book felt so real. The character develooment was fantastic and you really get to know both the main characters. They feel like rwo everyday people you eould mert on the street and it makes their story so believable. I dont know if this book is shorter than the ones before it but i felt like it was over too soon. It was great seeing River find his path in life as he has been the one throighout the series that was the most unsure of himself. The funny one that has no sense of purpose. A very real portrayal of two great characters struggling to communicate to reach their HEA. I only wish there was a "meatier" second half as it really flew by and felt almost like some content was sacrificed to keep the book below a certain page count. This was a fun, fast read that could very easily be read as a stand-alone though I very much recommend reading the entire series ( including the spin offs for Intrigue) 9.5/10 would recommend.... only wish it was longer I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
