A heartfelt request opens the door for a second chance. I received a copy of Tempting Mr. Wrong in exchange for an honest review from NetGalley. I love stories where fate steps in to reunite lost loves. Lance wants the chance to experience life to the fullest now that he has his freedom. Years in the army, following rules has made him long for a less restrictive lifestyle. But a misplaced letter from a deceased friend changes his plans and sets him on a course that may give him the life he never knew he wanted and reunite him with the love he has always regretted losing. Add an adorable little girl, divine intervention, a little matchmaking and you have the makings of a heartwarming love story.

Carly has been raising her four-year-old niece since the death of her brother and sister-in-law. She found a letter her brother had written to his best friend, who turned her down at her brother's wedding, and sent it along without reading it. Imagine her surprise when Lance shows up on her doorstep as soon as he's discharged from the Army. Lance has followed strict rules and schedules his whole life. He's looking forward to the trip of a lifetime when he's discharged from the Army, until he receives the letter written by his best friend before his death. His request: look after his daughter and sister and make sure they and the fixer-upper house are doing ok. Lance walked away from Carly's advances at the wedding not because he wasn't interested but because he didn't think her brother would approve. I loved this story. Carly and Lance have some definite chemistry and I couldn't put the book down until I saw how it would all unfold. Maya was adorable and all of the side characters created an amazing support system for this little girl who tragically lost both of her parents. I will definitely be going back to read John's story and am hoping that Adam will get his own book. *I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.*

Loved, loved, loved this one! It was light, funny, sexy, and heartwarming. A perfect relaxing read! Lance Townsend has spent several years in the army, living a very structured life and now that his commitment is up he's ready to experience a little fun in life. Before he can start his adventure though he receives a lost letter from his now deceased best friend. His buddy's request is simple. If anything happens to him he wants Lance to check in on his sister and his buddy's daughter and make sure everything is ok. How can Lance not go?? Even if Carly is the one woman he wants but knows he can't have. So the first thing he does is go to visit Carly Quigley and her niece Mya. While these two seem to be getting along well, the house is in need of some major work. Lance knows his buddy intended to get the fixer upper in shape so Lance will stay and do what he can knowing that his time is limited here. Then he can get to his "bucket list" adventure!! After a few weeks of domestic bliss and spending time with Carly and Mya, his adventure doesn't seem as important as it did just a few short weeks ago! A good read and one I definitely recommend.
