Wicked Ride, book 4 in The Wicked Horse series by Sawyer Bennett does as the title says, takes you on a wicked ride on several levels. I was given this Wicked Ride and glad of it. Wicked Ride can be read as a standalone, but if you have read the other 3 books you understand the encounters with secondary character more. There is a warning included-- “**this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex. The Wicked Horse Series is a bit different than what Sawyer Bennett normally writes.’ Wicked Ride is Logan McKay’s story. He is one of Bridger’s Fantasy Makers at The Silo and a Fishing Guide too. We know early on that Logan uses The Silo jobs to help block out his past. Then one night he walks into The Silo and his whole life is set on another course. Logan was happy “Until a raven-haired beauty with innocent eyes but a fun and kinky side won me over, and I have no clue how it happened.” Auralie Foster is at The Silo to have her virginity sold to the highest bidder by Magnus Albright. Sawyer Bennett again gives us an intense darker look at trying to develop a relationship under the worst conditions. It is a page turner that is angst driven with many plot twist that Logan and Auralie each have to adapt to in order to keep moving forward together. The secondary Characters are again important to know and we get peeks into these characters lives that will lead to their stories. As I have shared before, the back stories, the twist and angst of Wicked Horse series will have you hooked in no time. I still can't wait to see where The Wicked Horse series goes from here. I say give Wicked Ride a try, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Sawyer Bennett & Good Writing

This is Logan McKay's story and boy it is a good one. Logan has some serious issues from his past that he is refusing to deal with. Instead he spends most of his time at The Silo looking for his next sexual encounter. He's not picky, just as long as he can forget his past....until SHE walks in...black hair, blue eyes and skin so pale, but unfortunately word on the street is that her virginity is being auctioned off to the highest bidder. Logan can tell that Auralie is not comfortable being paraded around, showing off her virginity and feels this need to protect her from Magnus, her "owner". What Logan doesn't know is that Auralie is there working a con to try and get her dad out of trouble. The connection these two had was crazy. They knew what each other was thinking just by looking at each other. As Logan and Auralie spend more time together it is obvious that they have feelings for each other. It is also obvious that each of them is hiding things from each other. As Logan and Auralie continued on this path, Logan was getting more pulled in until it comes down to having to be open and honest with each other. Auralie's back story was interesting but Logan's was WOW...didn't see that one coming! I loved these two characters and their wonderful story. They really were made for each other and their chemistry was just off the charts! Great addition to this fun, sexy series and I can't wait for Bridger's story, which had a sneak peek at the end!

In the third instalment of the Wicked Horse series, we meet the newest addition to the Silo sex club: Auralie. Her “owner” Magnus intends to auction off her virginity. It’s a consensual business arrangement, but Auralie doesn’t like it one bit. Bridger doesn’t like the arrangement either, it seems legit, so there isn’t much he can do about it, but he intends to watch them carefully. However, Logan McKay, a fishing guide and part-time fantasy maker at the club, sees the sadness in her eyes, and recognises a kindred soul. Logan has many, many secrets, he’s very closed off; nobody really knows him. Logan is not interested in the “virgin” part of Auralie, but the wounded spirit in her. Auralie and Logan connect instantly, even when it’s only through their eyes, and thus begins a most unusual relationship… The beginning of WICKED RIDE had me completely mesmerised; the premise is utterly original, and I couldn’t wait to read on. It’s a very intriguing story, and even though Auralie is not usually the type of character I favour, I liked her a lot. Logan is a huge enigma, he tells her nothing, this even though the novel is told from alternate points of view. I must admit I was a bit conflicted because while I enjoy learning a character’s secrets at the same time at the other characters do, we still knew nothing of Logan’s secrets, and it took so long before we got to know anything – although it was a monumental burden to bear – I felt it was a tad anticlimactic. The sex scenes are as expected wild, passionate and entirely convincing, the writing fabulous and fluid, but I felt the middle of the book dragged on a bit, still I had no idea how the whole thing would turn out. I had given WICKED RIDE 4 stars, until the epilogue, which garnered a full star: it’s about Bridger, and it gives a taste of what’s to come, and I believe it will be even better than I hoped for, which is to say: it promises to be phenomenal! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
