About this ebook

Lady Adina, Countess Rathcavan, thinks it’s time her grandson took a bride, not just because there was no heir to the crumbling pile of stones that was her home, but since the explosion at his mill, their finances were strapped even further. The young man needed an heiress, but he had only one lady in mind, and she was as elusive as the sun in winter.

With Adina’s seventy-fifth birthday approaching, she decided to help her grandson by bringing his chosen lass, Lady Isabel Halden, to Rathcavan. And, since the lady was friends with her great-niece, Penelope, Adina could reunite her favorite relative with the man who unwillingly broke her heart when he was sent on a mission to Afghanistan. Lastly, if she could match that soft-hearted giant, Eamon Gowrey with the statuesque Brightman lass, Adina would be extra pleased with herself.

All three ladies come from good families and had more than sufficient dowries. But more importantly for Adina, they would appreciate and continue her stud long after she was gone.

A month-long house party with a ball, a fox hunt, moonlit walks in the garden and more, all bring the three couples closer. After an accident almost takes the life of one heiress, the three ladies vow to do everything in their power to stay together always. And the way they wished to start this new life was by sharing their wedding day with each other—if they can convince their new husbands of it!

Three love stories intertwined and set in Scotland just before Christmas, makes this an enjoyable and heartwarming book. Laethan Gordon, Earl of Rathcavan had been in love with Isabel Halden for years, only she didn't know it. He initially saw her during her first season and he vowed to make her his wife, but he had to sort out the mess left by the previous earl before he could think about marriage. Meeting Isabel in his own home makes it easy for him to make his intentions known, but with Isabel's history, he knows he has to move carefully if he is to win her heart. Nathaniel Santiago had also been in love with Penelope Fenwicke for some time, but when he was sent on an urgent mission for the Foreign Office, his attempts to woo her were stymied. Thinking that he was playing with her heart, Penny was heartbroken, especially when rumours reached her that he had been playing the field. After an attempt at reconciliation, Nate has a hard time keeping his secrets from Penny, but he is not at liberty to reveal his whereabouts in the time they have been apart. Instead, Penny has to learn to trust and find it in her heart to forgive him. Eamon Gowrey wasn't looking to getting married, but meeting the statuesque Charlotte Brightman, who is his match in every way, Eamon finds himself in no man's land. He has difficulties with the feelings he is experiencing and even more so with the feelings he has for Charlotte. Charlotte is used to being sidelined because of her height, but meeting the huge Scot gives her hope for the future. Just as the three young ladies are best friends and will protect each other with their lives, so too are the three young men friends and partners in business. The story has warmth, humour, romance and some tense moments, but overall it is well written and comes to a happy conclusion for all concerned. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.

What a wonderful story! I loved the fluidity and the intertwined story of each of the girls. This was extremely well done. Plenty of intrigue lots of detailed and descriptive information, the romance was believable, loved how each girl looked out for each other. I really enjoyed reading this and I highly recommend it. Sandy Raven has a gift in bringing her stories and the individuals to life. I received a complimentary copy via Booksprout. I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

the story is about three close knit girls and the men they find to marry. The story is well written and tells about each girl and guy and how they get together. Although I think it should have been 3 books,it was easy to keep up with and I really enjoyed reading it.

Sandy Raven has a husband who spoils her rotten, and kids that are just a hair’s breadth away from perfect. She’s addicted to House Hunters International and has never missed an episode, though she acknowledges that she could never live in most of those countries because the bathrooms are just too small. She is also addicted to Starbucks’ Chai Latte, and never passes up an opportunity to have one.

Sandy grew up on the Texas Gulf Coast with sand between her toes and perpetually frizzy hair. Which is why she now lives in the middle-of-nowhere Virginia, in a place with minimal to moderate humidity (for perfect, non-frizzy curls,) rolling hills and farmed forests. The only downside to that is the temperamental satellite internet and the closest Starbucks being a thirty-minute drive away.

Home is a small, renovated farm house she shares with her hero husband, and more cats, dogs and horses than she cares to admit to. She’s a long-time member of the Romance Writers of America, and is a member of Virginia Romance Writers, and The Beau Monde. Second to writing is her love for her horses. She practices natural horsemanship, and loves to ride her barefoot Tennessee Walkers on the trails and in the woods around her home.
