Logan is a no nonsense assistant and she begins working for a guy who is used to getting his way, Parker. Parker is one of three overpowering CEOs who run a company together but are also best friends. I absolutely loved these characters - their banter and way in which they all interact is great. The humor throughout the book was also a lot of fun so - I consider this tale more of a rom-coms which was just so much fun! The immediate connection they have is sweet and protective throughout the book. Give it a read!

great Romcom, I couldn't stop laughing at the Nibbles incident. while it's a romcom, there is a serious matter, you may want to grab tissue. a few problems though...it's hard to see the POV at the beginning of each chapters, the name is the same color in the background, that should be fixed! Parker and Logan relationship isn't "typical" by any means. they both say ILYto eachother without kissing or even going on a date. most of their relationship is him taking care of her and them not having an privacy or alone time because of Owen. they finally have a date but it's at the end of book. great read!

This is a new author for me and one I will definitely be reading again. I cannot express how much I have loved this book, it has been such an enjoyable read and I've lost all track of time reading it. I have laughed so much during this story, but I have also had my jaw drop, closed my eyes and shook my head, smiled a lot and even cried. This is so much more than I thought it would be; it had amazing characters who were written so well, a really good story that branched off it different directions (but worked so well), lots of humour, fantastic friendships, family, love and sadness - it ticked all the boxes for me and then some. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series now, I love these characters and will be reading this one again when I want to laugh and smile. I am voluntarily leaving this review after receiving an ARC.

About the author

Kristin is the magic behind The Boys of Mulberry Lane. From this first series she has created an entire world for us to call home. Often you can find little “Easter Eggs” throughout her books as well as character crossovers.

She resides in Pennsylvania just outside Philly with her husband, children, and several furry friends. When she isn’t writing she enjoys sewing/crafting, reading, and spending time with her family camping and exploring nature. She also works part time in the operating room which grants the medical knowledge she shares in her books.

So how did Kristin come to be an author? The simple answer….boredom. While her husband was away for work after the little monsters had already been tucked snuggly in their beds, she sat down to dip into an idea that she thought would be “just for funsies”. Now, 40-ish books later you can find her up at all hours writing away, because who needs sleep anyway?
