The secondary and supporting characters include Declan’s less than welcoming parents Helena and Alexander Blackwood, and his sister Marissa, as well as Declan’s childhood nannie Leonie. WICKED BILLIONAIRE is a story of family, discrimination, power and money. The premise is inviting, imaginative and engaging; the romance is spicy and hot; the characters are spirited and animated.

Everyone thinks it must be phenomenal to be rich, and in Declan Blackwood's case, mega rich. But it all means nothing if you’re not completely happy or fulfilled. He has tried to occupy his time with work, golf, the club, and it worked until he met Miss Robbins. He saw something there, on that day she came to clean his suite. Based off that, he offers her a job as his assistant, because he all of sudden needs a new one. I think Declan would be the first to tell you he never thought it would last, their working relationship, for a few reasons, mainly because Miss Robbins wouldn't back down and submit to him at work, and also that she probably like to submit to him at the club. He is headstrong on never crossing the line with his employees but the lovely Miss Bailey Robbins is not one to quit easy. In spite of his upbringing, Declan wasn't totally heartless. There was one other woman in his life that he treasured and took care of, so when Bailey tells him she has parents with health issues, he understood her concerns and obligations, just like he does for his nanny, Leonie. I admired the way Declan went from strength to strength as the relationship was evolving. Just as much as, I think highly of Bailey dropping her walls and trusting Declan to not be Dicklan. When she hears him say he loves her, in that suite, I nearly melted with her and was on board with forgiving him when he explained all the details. As this is the last Wicked Horse Vegas book, and I’m so glad it has ended on a high. To me, this is the best couple yet to frequent the sex club. They started out like the others, each wanting to reach the optimum enjoyment from their sexuality but discovered a greater high with finding their significant other and reaching their HEA. Bailey and Declan may have come from different backgrounds but they were definitely made to be together.

Declan comes from money, lots of money. Bailey grew up just getting by. Although her family life was filled with love, Declan’s was not. Declan did not know what a parent’s love was. Except from his nanny. She showed him how a child and later an adult should be treated and loved by his family. There was always love in Bailey’s home especially around the dinner table. Declan’s upbringing included expensive vacations, the best education money could buy, but absentee parents. You can everything in the world money can buy but without love you have nothing. Even though Bailey did not grow up with any extravagances she never felt deprived. From their first meeting in his hotel suite he knew she was different. Yes, they came from different worlds, but Bailey eventually showed him everything he was missing. Their relationship started at the Wicked Horse. A no strings arrangement. Something that would not follow them into the office. By day she was his assistant and by night they engaged at the Wicked Horse. It took a business trip for him to want more. Forgetting about the signed document describing their arrangement they took their relationship outside the club. From their it just grew. Feelings he never thought he could feel for another person started to develop. Fewer nights were spent at the Wicked Horse and more time was spent getting to know each other and falling in love with each other. She became his person. Someone he could trust in his personal life as well as his business. Wicked Billionaire is an opposites attract love story that will have you glued to every word. Sawyer Bennett once again delivers a story that is HOT HOT HOT and a male character who finally learns what real love is.
