About this ebook

Yield (verb): to surrender or submit (oneself) to another

Macy Carrington is broken. The strong, beautiful woman that I’ve unwittingly fallen in love with is all kinds of broken from a secret that she has carried for far too long.

A secret so dark, she has gone to great lengths to protect it.

A secret that I’m terrified will one day rip her away from me.

The only time Macy frees herself from the darkness is when she is naked and in my arms. When I am deep inside her body, there is nothing she fears. When she wraps herself around me, she is at peace.

If she would only yield to me completely, I know I can set her free.

**Cal and Macy’s story is a trilogy within the Legal Affairs series. All three books—Clash, Grind and Yield—must be read in order. You do not have to read the other Legal Affairs books to understand this trilogy.

This is the 3rd and final book for Cal and Macy's story. And like before, picks up right where Grind ended. I love the chemistry between Cal and Macy. But Macy still has her secrets and she believes she is damaged beyond repair, and of course, this is something Cal totally disagrees with. And when everything hits the fan with her father's company, Cal is more than willing to slay her dragons. The whole set really needs to be read in order, but definitely worth it. This was a fantastic trilogy!

I really loved the story up until the epilogue. I was disappointed with it, not the whole ending, just a specific detail, that unfortunately ruined the story for me. I guess I could say, without revealing too much, there was no need of a donor! Also the editing of the book was bad. Wrong names here and there, some other mistakes too. Also in the previous book when Macy and Cal are in his office, she tells him she can't have kids. Yet towards the end of this book she tells him again like it's a new information.

An awesome conclusion to Cal and Macy's story! We finally get the back story on Macy and shocking doesn't begin to describe it! This one is filled with mystery, suspense, and lots of hot kinky sexy times as Cal slowly tears down Macy's walls and gets her to believe in love and life once again. This series should be on everyone's must read list. I highly recommend this one!

About the author

Since the release of her debut contemporary romance novel, Off Sides, in January 2013, Sawyer Bennett has released multiple books, many of which have appeared on the New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists.

A reformed trial lawyer from North Carolina, Sawyer uses real life experience to create relatable, sexy stories that appeal to a wide array of readers. From new adult to erotic contemporary romance, Sawyer writes something for just about everyone.

Sawyer likes her Bloody Marys strong, her martinis dirty, and her heroes a combination of the two. When not bringing fictional romance to life, Sawyer is a chauffeur, stylist, chef, maid, and personal assistant to a very active daughter, as well as full-time servant to her adorably naughty dogs. She believes in the good of others, and that a bad day can be cured with a great work-out, cake, or even better, both.

Sawyer also writes general and women’s fiction under the pen name S. Bennett and sweet romance under the name Juliette Poe.
