This is book five in The Lies Series and it continues Langston and Liesel's story. Liesel has found out that the two children out of her triplets didn't die in fact they survived but were taken from her and now all of them are being held hostage and they want the treasure in exchange not her children. Langston has been deceived by Phoenix as he thought that Rose was his child when in fact she is Liesel's daughter and now they have to play some sort of game to get them back and he will do everything that is possible to get the treasure and free Rose, Atlas and Declan who are Liesel's children but what will they have to do and how will it all end. There are many twists and turns that you definitely didn't see coming but you should have expected along with secrets, betrayal, loss, lies, deceit, drama, hope, sacrifices, emotions and surprises that keep on coming and keeps you on the edge of your seat and just when you think things are about to get more settled you get a cliff hanger that takes your breath from and leaves you desperate for the final book which is Endless Lies. I absolutely love how the group of friends always drop everything to help there friends who are also there family as they have all gone through so much together and the bond is so strong that it can't be broken regardless of what happens. Ella Miles is an absolutely amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read her books but remember that this book is not a standalone and you will have to start at the beginning to get the full story and the background history but you will definitely not be disappointed. More secrets and more to lose. As more secrets come to light Liese and Langston’s story becomes more fascinating. There is so much going on in this book I was glued to my seat. I love the characters and as the series continues I become more engaged with them. The ending in this installment has me torn in two. Good story I highly recommend this series cannot wait for the next installment. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
