This was another very enjoyable entry for this series. There is plenty of emotion and tension as Jenner and Kellie's story unfolds. I thought that there was a raw genuineness to this story that made it super easy to relate to and that means the heartstring tugging is major. I really liked these two both as individuals and as a couple. A great read! This is my impartial, elective review.

Arriving in small town Ashland, Jenner did not mean to stir up a hornet's nest, but it seems that trouble finds him. It is easy to avoid his ex-wife because she is avoiding him too. However, Jenner cannot deny his attraction for Kellie, the owner of the B&B where he is staying, nor can he ignore the fact that she is in trouble. With an irresponsible Sherrif, a squatter, and wild dogs, Jenner has a hard time locating the missing War Dog Sisco.

Jenner is hoping to not only find Sisco but also meet with his ex and put the past in the past, he doesn't expect a B&B owner that he wants to know better, nor the puzzle of next door. Jenner and Kellie are so natural together and you understand why they open up to each other while his ex well she is off the charts cray cray, then there is the way people treat not only Kellie but also Jenner that grinds my gears. There is more than tracking a war dog down and love in this book which is great!
