Honor’s revenge…. how to review this book without giving too much away? This is the fourth book in the Masters’ Admiralty series, (but my first book in the series) and although it could be read as a standalone I would recommend to start with the first book in the series (Treachery’s Devotion) as not having the backstory might make you feel like you are missing something, The secret society is under attack from an unknown mastermind who keeps killing of important members. As an attempt to get closer to solving the mystery of who the mastermind is, the Fleet Admiral Eric Ericsson sends two of its members to America on a hunt for a killer. There they meet with the Grand Master of the Trinity masters, Master’s Admiralty equivalent in the United States of America. But the two societies are not on good terms, and Hugo and Lancelot do not play by the rules. To catch the killer they have to break the rules and contact Sylvia, a former student of Hugo. Let’s just say that instant sparks fly between the three, some would claim love at first sight. When Sylvia is kidnapped by her old teacher the pace picks up and we meet a few more interesting characters in Sylvia’s brothers. This book is an easy read and a lovely love story, although I didn’t really feel that much of a connection with the characters, with the exception of Eric Ericsson, who definitely intrigues me. As I said, an easy read and definitely a book I would recommend too read. A book with a cliff hanger making me itches for the prequel. The next book on my list will be Treachery’s Devotion. I received a free copy of this book and leave a voluntary review.

There is no other way to say this.....you have to read this book!!! I recommend you start with the first book in the series for a better understanding of the story line. If you like reading about menagerie OMG this book has it! Every book gets better and better, you will not be able to put it down. The only downfall is waiting for the next installment 😣. Hugo, Sylvia and OMG Lancelot (yummmmy) have a great story to tell. So much emotions and twists in this book, it kept me on the edge of my lazy boy chair. I enjoyed reading about Sylvia's brothers and how I laughed out loud with their wicked personalities. Hope to read about them in the future. I think this book is one of my favorite so far, having members of the trinity masters involved in this book was funny, edgy and emotional. Lila and Mari writing together are by far the best in romance, action, drama, laughter, action and cliffhangers. SOOO.... Stop reading my review and get this book!!.... ENJOY

This unlike trio will have you captivated right from the beginning. Sylvia was a former student living in America. Lancelot and Hugo are on the trail of a target and needs her help. As the drama builds up so does the romance between this trio. Will they be able to uncover the plot before one of them is taken out! I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
